She was predeceased by: her husband Michael I. Carter; her son Michael Carter; and her sisters, Mary Ann Joyce, Carol Lonczak and Evelyn Davey.

She is survived by: her children, Lynn Marie Champagne and James Carter (Rebecca). She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lakeside Memorial West Seneca Chapel (1340 Union Rd, West Seneca, NY 14224). A prayer will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Queen of Heaven Church (4220 Seneca St, West Seneca, NY 14224).
