As James Joseph departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James Joseph. Though James Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Wendy Maringer (Dennis), Todd Watkins (Shauneene) and Scott Watkins (Julie); and his grandchildren, Jacob Woods (Brittany), Justin Woods (Aimee Tredo), Jared Maringer (Kaylee), Eric Maringer (Brittnie Phillips), Mekhi, Nyah, Jimi and Dylan Watkins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoy Funeral Home (3855 Seneca St, West Seneca, NY 14224). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ebenezer United Church of Christ (630 Main St, West Seneca, NY 14224).
