He is survived by : his sister Angela Mata (late Ernest); his niece Rachel Barker (Richard Trzyna); his nephews, Richard Mata (Dana) and Ernest Mata (late Sandra); his great-nephews, Ernest Mata III (Sarah Banach), Brian Mata (Amanda) and Paul Barker (Kelly Helminak); and his close friend Veronica Szalecki.
