It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Edwin Van Ness of Westbrookville, New York, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence E. Van Ness and Audrey E. Van Ness (Skinner); and his wife Irene Van Ness (Mahood). He is survived by: his children, Tammy Pierce and Michael Van Ness; his grandchildren, CJ, Ares Shea, Nova Galadriel, Orion Thor and Odin Ulysses Edwin; and his sisters-in-law, Ginny (John Eckert), Elizabeth MacNear, Philomena Mahood and Helen Mahood. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous cherished dear friends.
