He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Patricia Cisler, Kathleen, Michelle Skolnik and Brian Skolnik; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Cisler, Riley Cisler, Hailey Cisler, Donald Cisler and Christopher Skolnik; and his parents, John T. Skolnik and Irene Skolnik.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donohue Cecere Funeral Directors (290 Post Ave, Westbury, NY 11590). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Brigid's R. C. Church (85 Post Ave, Westbury, NY 11590).
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated in John's memory to Westbury, NY Fire Department Rescue Squad (https://www.westburyfd.com) and Tunnel to Towers.
