It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Lee Bennett in Westbury, New York, who passed away on October 27, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas E. Davis, Sr. and Anne Louise Healey Davis; her husband James Bennett; and her brother Thomas E. Davis, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Beth Coxon (Bill), Louisa Welch, Jim Bennett, Jr. (Ana Ligia) and Edward Bennett (Kathy); her grandchildren, Billy, Heidi, Jake, Katie, Jimmy, Kristen, Courtney, Madison and Chandler; and her caregivers, April Dadds and Christi Lynch. She is also survived by 4 step-grandchildren, as well as 13 great-grandchildren, 6 step great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home (408 S Liberty St, Centreville, MD 21617). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery (6827 E New Market Ellwood Rd, Hurlock, MD 21643-3343).
