He is survived by: his wife Marion; his children, Elizabeth Newman (Everett), Thomas (Irina) and James (Leslie); his grandchildren, Tiana, Thomas, Zachary and Robert Sean; and his siblings, Roberta, Vincent (Fanchette), Francis (Nora) and John (Janet). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
