Russell leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Russell’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Russell will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo J. Bova and Elizabeth J. Falsone. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Bova; his children, Jennifer Balsiger (Verlin) and Michael Bova (Maria Tricarico); his granddaughter Harper Balsiger; and his sister Rebecca Bremer (Kevin). He is also survived by extended family, friends.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship (12 English St, Westfield, NY 14787). A graveside service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at the St. James Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Grove Homeschool Cooperative of Hartland Bible Church to help put musical instruments in the hands of young learners, including Russ's granddaughter.
