Steven leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Steven’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Gens and Theora Gens (Degolier); and his brothers, Donald, Alan and Mark Gens.

He is survived by: his wife Rhonda A. Gens (Claus) of Westfield, NY; his children, Cory R. Gens of Seneca Falls, NY, Bret M. Gens of Westfield, NY and Jennifer Hires of Ashville, NC; his grandson Zayne Gens; and his brothers, Byron Gens of Westfield, NY, Rex Gens of Brocton, NY, Kerry Gens of Fl and Carl Gens of Gowanda, NY. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
