He is survived by: his wife Pat Otto; his children, Janet Desens (Pete) of New Hartford and John Gaetano (Char Benhoff) of North Utica; his grandsons, David Desens of Utica, Joe Desens (Tiana) of Shrewsbury, MA, Matt Desens (Britanny Jones) of York, PA and Mike Gaetano (Kate) of North Utica; his great grandchildren, Emma Gaetano, Madison Desens and Charlie Mae Jones; his siblings, Frank Gaetano (Pattie), Chuck Gaetano (Mary) and Dianne Demson (Stas); his sister-in-law Peg Crowell (David); and his pet Mad Max. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
