Anna Lou Harney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Lou Harney in Westport, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Percival Franklin Taylor of Ontario and Arleen Evadne Bagby of Vanceburg, Kentucky.; her husband Charles Joseph Harney, Jr. (Chuck); her daughter Donna H. Deasey; her siblings, Dorothy Booth, Elizabeth McFadden and Robert F. Taylor; and her sons-in-law, John Deasey, Frank Verderame and Gordon Gilroy.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah H. Verderame of Alexandria, VA, Alana H. Forcier (James) of Westport, NY, Kevin C. Harney, Deirdre H. Gilroy of Hopkinton, NH and Sean T. Harney (Christine) of Cary, NC.; and her grandchildren, Kristen Hatch, Alexandra Deasey, Genevieve Maloney, Simon Verderame, Thomas Forcier, Anna Verderame, Deirdre MacNerland Sarah, Connor Harney, Bridget Shepard, Charles Verderame, Madelyn Gilroy, Christopher Harney and Jordan Hamlin. She is also survived by her thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
