With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Arthur Donaldson of Westport, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Arthur left this world on May 28, 2025 at the age of 100, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Donaldson and Lucy Lawson (Trevellyan); his wife Ruth Donaldson (Merrow); his daughter Shirley Donaldson; and his sister Deloris Stevens.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Simpson (Barry Lawrence), Arthur Donaldson, Jr. (Alice Borden) and Debbie Kandzior (Loren Kandzior Sr.); and his pets, Jack and Kitty.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westport Federated Church (6486 Main St, Westport, NY 12993). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the Black River Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Westport Fire and Rescue and Westport Federated Church.
