He is survived by: his wife Irma Martinez Mendez; his children, Jose Gabriel Mendez (Paula Marchington Mendez) and Kiesha Mendez; his grandsons, Austin, Connor, Logan and Chase Mendez; his sister Marilyn Marquez (Delby Marquez); and his sibling's children, David, Melissa, Dondi, Anton, Jaime, William, Kimberly and Daniel.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the T. S. Purta Funeral Home (690 County Rd 1, Pine Island, NY 10969). A prayer will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
