She was predeceased by : her parents, Abraham Jenkins and Essie Gadsen Jenkins. She is survived by : her children, Jeffrey Jenkins of Bronx, NY, David Brown of Bronx, NY, Nathaniel Brown of Bronx, NY and Ferne McNeil; her grandsons, John D. McNeil and Andre McNeil; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Jada and London; and her sister Mary Bowman of Bronx. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home, Inc. (491 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains, NY 10605). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made in her memory to the American Heart Association.
