We announce the death of Carolyn Jo Rogers of White Plains, New York, who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 91. Carolyn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Petty and Eunice Petty; and her siblings, Joan and Warren. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Potter and Michael Potter; her goddaughter Lynn Sabia; her grandchildren, Justin, Natasha, Erika and Tyler; her great grandchildren, Brody and Liliana; and her brother Bruce Petty.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Episcopal Church (33 Church St, White Plains, NY 10601).
In Lieu of flowers, and as a lasting tribute, she & family kindly suggest a contribution may be made in her name/memory/honor to: Grace Episcopal Church (may be done simply through the donation tab/link here in website towards the bottom of her Obituary Page, or done on your own to address listed there too & above), and/or you may choose to plant a tree in her name/memory/honor. If sending flowers despite the family & her request, & since there's no cemetery/cremation has already occurred, sending small plants or vases the family may keep or donate is preferable, which may be delivered on Thursday October 1st, 2026 by/before 1:45PM to Grace Episcopal Church.
