It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Mahalia Ridgway (White Plains, New York), who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brown (Adina Williams) and Jamaica West Indies; and her children, Leroy, Lorraine and Marcia.
She is survived by: her husband Edison St. Verley Ridgway; her children, Eleanor, Lorna, Winsome, Marie, Caulette and Erwin; her sister Elva; her children-in-law, Tanga, Apostle Cecil Riley, Errol Hamilton and Roy Leslie; and her grandchildren, Leroy Jr., Elizabeth, Nickol, Esther, Diane, Natasha, Cody, Taylor, Tennille, Jamie, John Earle, Hunter and Rayne. She is also survived by her extended family, a host of dear friends.
