It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James McGovern of White Plains, New York, born in Bronx, New York, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, James R. McGovern and Mary Ellen McGovern (Cossu) of Warwick; his siblings, Matthew McGovern of Queens and Meaghan McGovern-Kennedy (Robert Kennedy) of Warwick; and his nephews, Bo and Finn Kennedy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, and many, many friends.
