Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Joseph for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francesco Abatino and Maria Abatino; his wife Lisa Abatino; and his son Frank Abatino. He is survived by: his daughter Maria Clarizio; his daughter-in-law Maria Abatino; his grandsons, Christopher and Anthony; and his siblings, Anthony Abatino, Victoria Puja and Amy Zuffelato. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home (767 E Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck, NY 10543). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church (920 Mamaroneck Ave, White Plains, NY 10605). An entombment was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at the Ferncliff Cemetery (280 Secor Rd, Hartsdale, NY 10530).
