We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2026, at the age of 65, Katayun Barmak Vaziri (White Plains, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Katayun is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Katayun's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Frank Libsch; her child Xerxes; her mother Rosa; and her brother Babak.
