Maria left this world on April 23, 2024 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Underwood and Tina Underwood; and her sister-in-law Anne. She is survived by : her daughter Grace; her siblings, Jo-Ann, William and George (Loretta); her nieces and nephews, Tina (Jill), Tara (Chris), Jessica (Brian), Salvatore, Joseph (Nicole) and Joanna (Phil); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Aiden, Scarlet, Conor, Salvatore, Santino and Joseph Mack.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Ballard-Durand Funeral & Cremation Services (2 Maple Ave, White Plains, NY 10601).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Network reflecting Maria's compassionate and generous spirit.

“My sincerest condolences to the family. Maria was a special person and will always hold a place in my heart. I had the privilege of working with her, living with her and vacationing with Maria. We made some amazing memories in NY, NJ, PA, UT and CA. I had the honor of knowing her mother as well as her siblings and their kids. I will miss you Maria.
