She is survived by: her wife Carly Borenkind; her niece Unique Alston; her siblings, Alice Alston-Young (James) and Lenton Alston (Bonnie); her close friend Cynthia Cobb; her goddaughter Brianna Cobb; her nieces and nephews, Shaquilla Lahon, Tenay Alston and Lenton Love Alston III; her aunt RosaLee Alston; her grandson Jakai Brown; and her pet Twinkie.
