He was predeceased by: his brother John Van Etten. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughters, Kathleen and Patricia (Joseph Maldonado); his grandsons, Darius, Joaquin and Malcolm Maldonado; his sister Margaret Van Etten; and his pet Nellie.
