He was predeceased by: his parents, Beresford Parris and Ivy Parris; and his siblings, Joyce Bryan and Ronald Parris. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Colette (Ezzard), Justin (Jessica) and Marc Alexander (Arielle); his grandchildren, Justin Jr., Jaden and Lily; his siblings, Velma Forde, Joan Taylor (Sam), Trevor Parris (Ruth) and Mavis Layne; and his extended family, Sandra Bryan Vincent, Cheryl Greenidge, Prudence Layne, Janelle Taylor, Kira Parris-Moore, Astra Parris and Roslyn Warner.

Oneall attended Boys' Foundation School and Harrison College in Barbados, and received his bachelor's degree in biology from Yale University.
