He is survived by: his wife Carol Savitt; his sons, James Burns (Krista), Keith Burns (Laurie) and Jason Savitt (Susan); his grandchildren, Austin Burns (Rebecca), Devin Burns, Riley Burns and James M. Burns; and his sisters, Jane Sand and Wendy Savitt-Reyes (Dan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
