She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Gootar and Fanny Gootar; her husband Joseph; her daughter Melanie; and her siblings, Harry and Lillian.

She is survived by: her children, Joseph Civita of White Plains and Fran Civita; her son-in-law Daniel Rosenthal of White Plains; and her grandchildren, Marina and Marc Rosenthal.
