It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Silvestre Ramirez of White Plains, New York, who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Silvestre Ramirez and Emelia Lemus. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Ramirez of White Plains, NY; his children, Maria Ramirez of White Plains, NY., Jose Ramirez of Naugatuck, CT., Teresa Alarcon of Port Chester, NY and Roberto Ramirez of Port Chester, NY.; his brother Juan Diaz; his sister-in-law Lili Diaz of Port Chester, NY.; his sisters, Luz Maria Osorio of Mexico and Virginia Diaz of Mexico; his grandchildren, Francisco Garcia, Daniel DeLeon, Timothy J. Ramirez, Nicholas M. Ramirez, Rosario Alarcon, Silvestre Alarcon and Juan Alarcon; his great grandchild Noah Ramirez; his niece Yasmin Nelson; and his nephew David Garista.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Craft Memorial (40 Leicester St, Port Chester, NY 10573). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Parish of Saint John Bosco (260 Westchester Ave, Port Chester, NY 10573). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at the Greenwood Union Cemetery (4 North St, Rye, NY 10580).
