He is survived by : his close friend Laura Bushaw; his children, Patrice Adams, Charles Adams and Rondal Adams (Melanie); and his siblings, Dorothy Brickhouse and Art Adams. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
