We bid farewell to Dennis C. Cater of Whitesboro, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 13, 2025 at the age of 84. Dennis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Cater and Zylpha Cater (Spooner); and his brother David (late Joan Cater). He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Kim (Keith Hatzinger) of New Hartford and Steve (Tricia Carter) of Whitesboro; his grandchildren, Michael, Kait Hatzinger, Jessica and Spencer Cater; and his siblings, John Cater (Diane) of South Carolina, Carolyn Mascaro (Joe) of Deansboro and Ted Cater (Chris) of New Hartford. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McGrath, Myslinski, Kowalczyk & Nunn Funeral Directors (470 French Rd, Utica, NY 13502). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
