Evelyn V. (Kagan) DeCola Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn V. (Kagan) DeCola (Whitesboro, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Kagan and Victoria Kagan (Szczygiel); her parents-in-law, Ernest and Maria Christina DeCola (Circelli); her brother Edwin Kagan; and also, Romeo, Mattio, George, Rose and Mary.
She is survived by: her daughter Dawn; her son-in-law Rick Maggiolino; her son Anthony "Al" "Tuffy"; her daughter-in-law Pat DeCola; her children, Victoria R. "Vickie" DeCola and Andy; her grandchildren, Laura Maggiolino, Andrew, Nicole Maggiolino, Aaron, Zoe Maggiolino, Anthony, Lori DeCola, Olivia, Ron DeJong, Victoria, Kyle Schweizer, Marisa DeCola, Charlie and Nikki Walz; her great grandchild Derek DeCola; her grandchildren, Cecilia, Deacon DeJong, Cianna Husnay, C. J., Maddox and Sammy Walz; and her brother Norman A. Huzar. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Paul's Church (16 Park Ave, Whitesboro, NY 13492).
