Janet L. Barnes Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Janet L. Barnes of Whitesboro, New York, who passed away at the age of 95, on September 24, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph W. Lloyd and Mabel Williams Lloyd. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Toukatly of Liverpool, Carolyn Mawhorter (Steven) of Shaker Heights, OH and Marcia Bailey of Collegeville, PA.; and her grandchildren, Andrew Toukatly (Janelle), Matthew Toukatly (Patricia), Kathryn Miller (Joshua), Mary Beth Nagengast (Wil), Christopher Mawhorter (Hannah), Michael Mahorter (Grace), Jennifer Lloyd (Emilie), Sarah Bailey, Adam Bailey and Thomas Bailey (Hanna). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church (13 Clark Pl, Utica, NY 13501). Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Baptist Women's Ministries of NYS scholarship fund or Tabernacle Baptist Church in Utica, NY.
