He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Ligas and Margaret Ligas; his sister Angela Swan; his in-laws, John and Josephine Gargiulo; and his brothers-in-law, Happy Acee Jr., Benjamin Brower and John Gargiulo Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Diane C. Ligas (Gargiulo); his sons, John A. (Sibley), Michael (Anne Marie), Jeffrey (BeHai) and Stephen; his grandchildren, Allie, Zane, Mariah, Emory, Kelsey, Max, Zachary, Benjamin (Grace) and Caitlin; his great grandchild Samuel; his niece Theresa Gurdo (Ed); and his sisters-in-law, Judith Acee, Marjorie Brower and Judith Gargiulo. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
