It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marsden A. Lyon of Whitesboro, New York, born in Dolgeville, New York, who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George M. Lyon and Grace Lyon (Cramer); his daughter Valeriann M. Lyon; and his siblings, Craig Lyon, Merwin Lyon, Waldo Lyon, Shirley Williams, Arlene Lyon, Nadine Spencer and Irene Diedrich.

He is survived by : his wife Carol A. Miller (Church); his daughter Schelli Servidone (Joseph); his grandchildren, Jon Lyon (Katie), Zachary Servidone (Courtney) and Haley Benson (Grant); his great grandchildren, Grayson and Theodore; his siblings, Bruce Lyon, Duane Lyon (Donna), Daryl Lyon (Julia), George Lyon (Char), Grace Eggleston and Noreen Crane (James); and his sisters-in-law, Charlene Harper and Lois Miller (Dixon Peters). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
