He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley Smaka and Florence Smaka (Zielonka); his sons, Dennis and Christopher Smaka; his siblings, Richard Smaka (Shirley) and Frances Holloway (Bryce); and his brother-in-law Joseph Yourno.
He is survived by : his children, Ronald Smaka, Jr. (Mary Ann Weekes), Jeanne Matotek (Joseph) and Carolyn Smaka (Alex Bernstein); his grandchildren, Lindsey, Lane, Logan Smaka, Madeline Beisel (Brian), Maxwell Matotek, Charlie Bernstein and Justin Roberts; his sisters-in-law, Madeline Aikin (Richard) and Janet Yourno; and his close friends, Dave Jeffalone, Frank Gohringer and Al Forbes. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
