She was predeceased by: her sister Patricia Piersma; and her parents, John Piersma and Evelyn Piersma. She is survived by: her children, Michael Spohn (Lamia Fehada) of San Francisco, California, John Spohn of Charlotte, Cydney Spohn (Andy Zins) of Charlotte, Vermont, Stephen Spohn (Emiko Nishimura) of Tokyo, Japan and Heather Potrzeba (Ed Potrzeba Jr) of Earlville; her grandchildren, Rebecca Spohn, Catherine Spohn, Eddie Potrzeba III, Charlie Potrzeba, Sarah Spohn and Enzo Spohn; her sister Marolyn Wilson of Whitesboro; and her nieces, Tricia Conboy of Framingham, Massachusetts, Emily Hilson of West Sussex and Maryann Murray of Tully. She is also survived by six grandchildren, one sister, and three nieces.
