She was predeceased by: her parents, Ashley Himes and Betty Himes (Johnson); and her husband Herbert. She is survived by: her children, James Van Houte and Rebecca Van Houte. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
