He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor L. Tompkins and Elizabeth Irene Tompkins (Mullikin); and his wife Ryoko. He is survived by: his daughters, Chiaki Castro (Jeffery) and May Chiccino (Ray); his grandchildren, Justina Duenas, Joseph Duenas III, Delores Jaimes (Daniel), Jayden Chiccino and Vinny Chiccino; and his great grandchildren, Ezra Duenas and Penelope Jaimes. He is also survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
