She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Newman and C. Lucille Newman (Overmyer). She is survived by: her children, Laurie Sammis (John), Linda Taylor (Mark), Tamara Clingan and Richard Weaver (Donni); and her grandchildren, Samantha Aggeles (Clay), Peter Sammis, Katlyn Baumhover (Thomas) and Matthew Clingan.
