He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene and Iris; and his brothers, Francis, Charles and David.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Sandra (Doug) and Max Jr. (Angela); his grandchildren, Kati (Nate), Chloe (Ben), Hunter (Daphne), Eva Cate and Carson (Jamie); his great grandchildren, Alexandria, Elijah and Quinn; and his siblings, Richard, Larry (Jackie), Keith (Susie) and Kay (Ned).
