He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo and Olive; his daughter Karen Steurrys; and his siblings, Madeline, Robert and Carol.
He is survived by: his wife Dana; his children, Terry Hicks and Sheila Gottschalk (Jason); his grandchildren, Joel Steurrys (Joslyn), Shannon Skully, Adriana Steurrys, Rachel Marvin (Kraig), Sarah Brown, Anna Kruger (Denyson), Emily Gottschalk and Jacob Gottschalk; his sister Nancy Holmes; and his parents-in-law, Ron, Sandy Buerman and Mary Hicks. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
