She was predeceased by: her spouse Judd Clinton Ayer; and her brother Conrad Kaczmarek (Josephine). She is survived by: her children, Barbara Mitchell (John), Sarah Sorensen (John) and Judd C. Jr. Ayer (Diane); her grandchildren, Anna Korczynski (Matthew), Thomas, Julia Mitchell (Rocky Martin), Justin and Evan Gudell, Claire Sorensen, Nathaniel, Julia Ayer, Justin Kacko and Christian Thomas; her great grandchild Benjamin; and her nieces and nephews, Ellen, Mary, Peter, John, Joy, Anne, Paul and “Barbara's Angels”, Bethany, Julie and Meghan.
In lieu of flowers donations in Barbara's memory may be made to Amherst Senior Transportation or Ronald McDonald House.
