He is survived by: his wife Frances (Uhl); his son David Krause; his stepchildren, Kevin (Janice), Raymond, Daniel Welch (Laura) and Deborah Welch-Moline; and his stepgrandchildren, Kevin, Matthew, Hannah, Steve, Morgan and Dylan. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

“Jim was such a delight at Ukulele Sing A Long that I led at the Amherst Senior Center. He was always making us laugh and knew so many songs. He had to decide between Line Dancing, Pickle Ball and Ukulele which were all at the same time and tried to do them all, but Line Dancing and Pickle Ball won over Ukulele. We will miss him and his contributions to the fun he added to Ukulele Class..........Condolences to his family and friends.”
