He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Deborah Mize; his children, James E. Mize, Monica R. Duffy (John) and Heather L. Mize; his grandchildren, Drew Gerster, Felicity Gerster, Andrew J. Avery, John Duffy IV and Ethan Duffy; and his brother Michael Mize (Nancy).
