He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Ash (Benson); his sons, Robert Ash (Tara) and Christopher Ash; his grandchildren, Declan and Braelyn Ash; his stepmother Mary Ann Ash; and his siblings, Gregory Ash (Shawn), Mark Evans (Kim), Jeffrey Ash (Sandy), Kathy Gentile (Rick), Nancy Rizzo (Nick), Valerie Herrmann (Robert) and Wayne Evans. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Buffalo VA Medical Center or the American Diabetes Association.
