She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph C. Nelms Jr.; her stepson Robert Nelms (Carol); her parents, Daniel Hannan and Lucy Hannan; and her sibling Gale Hannan.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Paterson and Eric Bockstahler; her stepsons, Joseph C. Nelms III (Patricia), James Nelms (late Tomann), John Nelms (Roberta) and Steve Nelms (Karen); and her sibling Thomas Hannan (Virginia).
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Buffalo Newman Center (495 Skinnersville Rd, Buffalo, NY 14228). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Peter & Paul Cemetery (66 E Main St, Hamburg, NY 14075).
