He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Wood and Dorothy M. Wood; and his brother James Wood. He is survived by: his children, Lindsey Wood (Nicole Cianchetti) and Kyle Wood (Jordan); his granddaughter Elena Wood; and his siblings, Deborah Cragg (Bernard), Beverly Schultz, Laurie Yavicoli (late Donald), Sharon Lamb (Thomas), Harold Wood (Lorrie), Raymond Wood (Diana), John Wood (Deborah) and Steven Wood (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lombardo Funeral Home (Snyder Chapel) (4614 Main St, Snyder, NY 14226). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM.
