He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jacquelyn R. Simmons (Spittler); his children, Steven Simmons (Helen Tweedy), Catherine Hark (Robert) and Carolyn Sciandra (Joseph); his grandchildren, Steven J. Simmons, Robert Hark (Alicia), Jonathan Hark (Betty), Stephanie Haberman and Joseph Sciandra Jr.; and his brother Alan Simmons (late Judy).
Visitation was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Roberts Funeral Home (1671 Maple Rd, Williamsville, NY 14221). A committal service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the Elmlawn Memorial Park (3939 Delaware Ave, Kenmore, NY 14217). A burial was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at the Elmlawn Cemetery.
