He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joseph Zak, Daniel Zak and Dolores Palczynski. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Zak; his children, Laura Ann Smith (Curtis) and Anthony Robert Zak (Sandra Betancourt); his grandchildren, Zachary Curtis Smith, Christopher Anthony Zak, Victoria Rose Jayamantri (Eric) and Connor Robert Zak; and his great grandchild Miles Angelo Jayamantri. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harris Hill Chapel (8440 Main St, Williamsville, NY 14221). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church (4375 Harris Hill Rd, Williamsville, NY 14221).
