He was predeceased by : his wife Julia; his son Thomas; and his brothers, Bob and Conrad. He is survived by : his children, Dennis and Kathryn; his children-in-law, Nora, Eileen and Stephen; his grandchildren, Thomas, Daniel, Donna, Jenna, Laura, Kristin and Michael; his great grandchildren, Katie, Ella, Helena, Calvin and Rudy; and his sister Irene. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to the American Lung Association (https://www.lung.org). And if you're so inclined, treat yourself to a "Grandpa-sized" piece of ice cream cake in Al's honor.
