He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Jones and Jane Jones (Roberts); his siblings, Robert Jones, Donna Jones and Marilyn Layton (Jones); his wife Shirley Jones (Gniewek); his children, Jennifer Traviglia (Dan Traviglia), Gary Robert Jones (Kristy Imhof), Elizabeth Fortine (Alan Fortine) and Brittany Jones; and his grandchildren, Cyrus Traviglia, Cooper Jones, Elisha Traviglia, Sonny Jones and Scotty Fortine.
