She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Wade and Bernice Wade (VanOrnam); and her siblings, Edward Wade and Janice Drew. She is survived by: her husband Elton G. Barton; her children, Donald Barton (Tracy), Susan Barton (Bill) and Debbie Christian (Kelley); her sister Denise Goddeau (Joe); her grandchildren, Melissa, Garry, Benjamin, Reginald, Jon-Morgan, Tyler and Colby; and her pets, Cocoa and Hunter. She is also survived by 13 great‑grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Joyce M. Barton may be made to the local SPCA or to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
